Gloria and Blair Labatt

Gloria and Blair Labatt were lifelong San Antonio civic leaders and early supporters of Hemisfair. Gloria (1922-2010) was a trustee of Trinity University, Sunshine Cottage, and Alamo Heights Independent School District. Blair (1916-2000) was a partner in Labatt Wholesale Grocery Company, whose origins date back to 1910. In 1968, Labatt formed a new foodservice company to supply Hemisfair restaurants. Born at Hemisfair, Labatt Food Service is one of the largest foodservice distributors in the nation.
