Sally Cheever

Sally Cheever loved picking & shelling pecans along with her children so this tree is a perfect tribute to her. She also enjoyed Hemisfair in 1968.

She was born in El Paso, TX in 1928 & died at home in San Antonio unexpectedly in 2004. She was a fun loving energetic wife, sister, mom & grandmom. She had a passion for her family, her Catholic faith, Girl Scouts, Daughters of the Republic of Texas, Junior League of SA, the Alamo, Military Civilians Club and all things San Antonio & Texas. Her favorite saying was “ Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without”
