My Dad passed away in May 2020, over 9 years after my Mom died. Those last 9 years were difficult for him, as he missed her terribly after 55 years of marriage. I planted a tree at Hemisfair in memory of my Mom earlier in 2020 and thought it would be a meaningful tribute to plant a tree in memory of my Dad nearby. If you stand at my Dad's tree and look northeast, you can see Mom's tree. Dad would have loved it. For us, his three daughters, it helps ease our losses to know that the two trees memorializing them are together. We miss you every day, Dad. We love you.
